Kindergarten in Sharjah — school-ready learning
A structured, nurturing kindergarten year built on EYFS, STEAM and bilingual Arabic & English, at all three Little Feet branches in Sharjah.
If you're looking for a kindergarten in Sharjah that does more than tick boxes before big school, Little Feet offers a kindergarten year designed to send children into Year 1 confident, curious and genuinely prepared. It is for children aged 3.5 to 4, with small classes and qualified teachers so every child gets real attention, not just supervision.
A typical day in our kindergarten mixes structured learning with plenty of play. Mornings focus on early literacy, numeracy and bilingual Arabic and English sessions, followed by STEAM projects, outdoor play and quiet time. Children practise the routines they will meet at big school, such as lining up, packing their bags and speaking up in a group, and our mock interviews help them feel at ease before their first school visit. Parents can speak to their child's teacher at any time about progress.
Our kindergarten builds on everything children have learnt in our nursery school and preschool programmes, so there is continuity, familiar faces and a smooth transition. Little Feet has served Sharjah families since 2003 and is regulated by the Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA).

Frequently asked questions.
What age is kindergarten at Little Feet?
Our kindergarten programme is for children aged 3.5 to 4 years old.
What is the difference between preschool and kindergarten?
Our preschool builds early literacy, numeracy and social skills through play. Kindergarten is the final year before big school, with a stronger school-readiness focus: structured routines, STEAM projects, bilingual Arabic and English sessions and mock interviews.
What is the difference between Pre-KG and kindergarten?
Pre-KG bridges nursery and kindergarten, building independence, early reading, numeracy and communication. Kindergarten builds on that with school-readiness preparation. Contact your nearest branch and we will help you choose the right class for your child.
Is your kindergarten in Sharjah regulated?
Yes. Little Feet Nursery is regulated by the Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA) and has operated in Sharjah since 2003.
What curriculum do you follow for kindergarten?
We follow the EYFS framework, enriched with Montessori values, STEAM projects and bilingual Arabic and English learning. See our curriculum.
Will my child learn Arabic as well as English?
Yes. Our kindergarten includes structured bilingual sessions in Arabic and English, so children are comfortable in both languages as they move on to primary school.
What are school-readiness mock interviews?
Some schools meet children before admission, which can feel unfamiliar. Our teachers practise simple interview-style conversations and situations with the children so they feel relaxed and confident on the day.
Will my child be ready for primary school?
No nursery can promise a specific outcome, but our kindergarten year is designed to build the confidence, routines, language and early academic skills children need to settle into Year 1, whichever school they go on to.
Do you offer full-day kindergarten in Sharjah?
Yes. We offer half-day and full-day options, and extended daycare hours are available for working parents.
Which branches offer kindergarten?
Can I visit before enrolling my child?
Yes. Message us on WhatsApp or call your nearest branch and we will arrange a visit so you can see the classrooms and meet the teachers. You can also read about admissions and fees beforehand.
Our goal for every kindergarten child is simple: confident, curious and ready for the next step, whichever school they go on to.
