COVID-19 has created a vast impact on Global Education System and the Sector has faced massive challenges that opened horizons for new learning techniques.

From Virtual Learning, Social Distancing to Bubble approach, society as a collective has succeeded in keeping the education system alive and functioning even during the harshest days of COVID-19 Pandemic.

After gaining immense popularity, because of the occurrence of the global pandemic, AR (Augmented Reality) have paved the way for a new era for the Education Sector globally. It provides visual representation of learning material and enables us to impart interactive learning. Experts suggest 65% of population are visual learners and brain process visuals 60,000X faster compared to text. This technology is a breakthrough in the field of Education and has the potential to bring a revolution in the traditional learning methods by transforming and engaging a child into a deeper learning environment.

At Little Feet Nursery, our pioneering stars had twinkling eyes when they witnessed the magic of Augmented Reality. Expression on their faces were worth millions when they were introduced to “Wild Animals” and “Community Helpers” via AR. Their joy knew no bounds as they watched the flat images come to life. There were loud cheers and excitement, “Woov that’s a Tiger near you” & “Hey don’t touch those animals, they are wild animals” reverberated in the air throughout the session. It was truly overwhelming to hear our tiny tot’s talking about Wild Animals with so much eagerness. Watching their little faces get bright as they witnessed the 3D figures move around and blend in with our reality was a memorable scene.

The interactive option within this groundbreaking creation allows the curiosity of our Little Learners to run wild. Their massive imagination that sits in their little bodies couldn’t be more satisfied when going through the hands-on experience that bring their desires to reality just with a touch of a finger or a click of a mouse.

Resuming Transport Services

It was a time to rejoice for Little Feet Nursery staff and families as confirmation came for our nursery to resume transport services for transporting our children.

Little Feet transport will run with 50% capacity strictly adhering to all the COVID protocols ensuring that our children are transported back and forth in the safest manner.

The safety protocol includes pre-trip bus sanitisation, temperature checks, social distancing on board, seat belts and frequent hygiene checks.

As one of the very few nurseries gaining approval from Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA), our nursery stays committed, with adopted safety measures strictly in line with the mandatory requirements set by the Ministry of Education and Health Authorities.

Eid-Al-Fitr Celebrations

Eid-Al-Fitr marks the end of Ramadan and we celebrated with true spirit and enthusiasm.

Our little ones came dressed in beautiful traditional attire donning beautiful accessories.

We had our nursery decorated with lanterns and twinkling star lights to keep up the tradition.

Staff had done henna on their hands as part of the celebration. Children enjoyed coloring the “Eid Greetings” card to take home to their loved ones.

We had a special assembly done bubble-wise to mark the occasion where children were explained the importance of the Holy Month of Ramadan.

Nursery came alive with the excited little voices greeting “Eid Mubarak” to each other making it extra special.

Virtual Graduation 2021

We were one of the very first few nurseries who have been easily able to adopt to the ‘New Normal’ within a very short time frame.

We were able to compile an impressive collection of e-Learning tasks which helped us to move seamlessly from the ‘Physical Classroom to Online Learning’ enabling us to deliver the best educational experience to our children.

Our program is so versatile that it has enabled us to provide lessons that are as close as possible to learning in the physical classroom bringing a lot of relief to our parents.

Our online classes have been successfully running from April 2020 since the start of pandemic.

Amidst the challenging times, we feel immensely blessed to have been able to run our virtual classes till date and support more than 100 children focusing on each child’s holistic development with activities ranging from Academics to Art, Montessori, STEAM and Yoga Sessions.

Little Feet hosted its first ever Online Virtual Graduation event in March 2021 using Zoom platform and was celebrated in grand style steeped with tradition.

It was truly amazing to see our tiny tots donned with the traditional Gowns and Caps, making it a proud moment for the parents and for each one of us at the nursery.

It was worth the effort, and we stand delighted to see our tiny tots clearing their interviews with the help of our online platform to secure seats in the best British curriculum and Indian curriculum schools of Sharjah or Dubai.
