Little Feet Nursery in Al Khalidiya is getting excited as we get closer to the 28th November! We invite you to join us in celebrating the UAE National Day. There will be fun activities and lots of joy for all our learners. The day does not only celebrate the holiday but also the rich heritage and culture of the United Arab Emirates.
UAE National Day: Why Do We Celebrate It?
The UAE National Day celebrates the 1971 founding of the nation and unification of seven Emirates. This is a day to celebrate the UAE’s history, culture, and traditions. It’s a chance for our children to discover the values and culture that makes their country so special.
What will Little Feet Nursery be doing on National Day?
We’ll host a celebration on November 28 that will be filled with fun activities for children. This is a sneak peek of the festivities:
- Cultural Crafts: The children will take part in arts and crafts such as painting sand jars and making camel or falcon artwork. They can explore UAE culture through these activities in an interactive and fun manner.
- National Colors Day: We encourage our children to wear the UAE flag colors, red, black, white and green. The visual display helps to instill pride in the UAE flag in young children.
- Storytelling Session: Teachers share stories from UAE history. From the first Bedouins to modern wonders, teachers will tell tales. Children can discover the history of their country through storytelling.
- Traditional Music and Dance: The little dancers can enjoy an energetic session of Emirati traditional music and dance. They will embrace the joyful spirit of UAE heritage.
- Special Treats: The children will be served traditional Emirati snack foods, giving them an authentic taste of UAE flavors.
