    Arabic Session With Steam Activity

At Little Feet Nursery , Al Khalidiya our mission was simple yet ambitious taking Arabic Session out of its textbook context and into three-dimensional reality for children. We believe that young children learn best when education is engaging, hands-on, and meaningful. Our recent Arabic session with Steam Activity was a wonderful example of how language development and creative exploration can come together to create a joyful learning experience for our little learners.

    Building Confidence Through Play-Based Learning

At Little Feet Nursery, we strongly believe in Play-based learning as the foundation of early education. This Arabic Steam session allowed children to learn naturally through play, without pressure or fear of making mistakes. Each activity was designed to be inclusive, ensuring that children of different learning styles could participate and enjoy the experience.

By engaging in group activities, children practiced listening, turn-taking, and collaboration. These social interactions helped strengthen communication skills while building self-confidence in using a new language.

At the Intersection of Language and Logic

At our sessions, our educators opened with a circle time that set the stage for discovery. Their educators introduced today’s theme construction and discovery with instructions, key terms, collaborative discussions conducted primarily in Arabic.
Parents searching for children’s Nurseries in Sharjah want an environment which both recognizes local culture while simultaneously equipping children for modernity we found just such an environment here. Utilizing Steam concepts we were able to link abstract Arabic words with physical objects and actions for this session.

    Encouraging Curiosity and Exploration

Steam learning encourages children to ask questions, experiment, and explore the world around them. By introducing Arabic concepts through exploration, children became curious learners who enjoyed discovering new words and ideas. This curiosity-driven approach supports lifelong learning and helps children develop a positive attitude toward education.

The session also encouraged children to connect what they learned in the classroom to their everyday experiences, strengthening understanding and retention.

    The Science of Colors

At the science station, there was an air of pure wonder. Lessons focused around mixing colors and watching their reactions as children performed simple experiments to observe how liquids changed when mixed.

Student Engagement and Development of Character

One of the most rewarding parts of this session was witnessing how children interacted socially; Steam activities typically promote collaboration among peers doing it all while speaking two different languages added another level of complexity that our students masterfully navigated through.

We found that even shy students became more willing to engage when the focus shifted away from language itself and more towards tasks at hand; pressure to “speak correctly” faded quickly as participants wanted to join in the fun

    Why Steam and Arabic?

Why combine Steam and Arabic? You might ask why we would combine these disciplines, but the reason lies within brain development during early years of life. At Kids Nursery Sharjah Children naturally explore how the world functions by testing hypotheses about its workings; by adding Arabic onto this natural investigation process we harness their inherent curiosity as a platform for language acquisition.

    As We Look Ahead

Following on the success of Fun Arabic Sessions Enhanced with Steam Activity, we plan to introduce more multidisciplinary days into our calendar. Children were immediately and enthusiastically responsive they didn’t want the session to end! They left excited to show their parents what they built or created and took home new vocabulary that will stay with them as an irreplaceable memory.
Early education should be dynamic, interactive, and pertinent this session demonstrated just that When given tools to investigate big ideas with freedom and autonomy, their capacity for learning skyrockets
We look forward to many more sessions where culture, language and innovation come together.
